With nearly 20 years of experience and client relationships that span over a decade, Jim and his team at Beta Financial Partners are proud to provide a streamlined, tailored approach designed to help clients use their wealth to create the lives they envision. They focus on building and deepening their relationships with clients, gaining a profound understanding of their financial goals and helping them pursue those aspirations as quickly as possible. In addition to prioritizing efficiency, Jim and his colleagues also view integrity as one of the cornerstones of their practice. They’re committed to working with their clients’ best interests at heart and strive to not just meet, but exceed, their expectations.
While Jim began his professional life as a recruiter, he decided to pursue a career in financial services as a way to help others. “Now I get to work with families, creating legacies and helping people achieve the goals they’ve always wanted to achieve,” he says. “It’s an incredibly fulfilling profession.” Aside from working with families, Jim also has specialized experience serving educators, retired investors, women, conservators and trustees. He previously worked at Edward Jones Investments for almost two decades. In 2019, Jim joined Raymond James, a firm that grants him the autonomy – as well as the tools, resources and support – to offer clients the truly holistic service they deserve.
Passionate about giving back to his community, Jim has been elected to serve on local boards, including Widefield School District 3, where he’s currently fulfilling his first four-year term, and the Security Fire Protection District, where he’s served for more than a decade. He has also volunteered for a variety of organizations – including the YMCA, Fountain Valley Senior Center, Fountain Valley Chamber of Commerce and Security Lions Club – and is a proud supporter of the Alzheimer’s Association and the Boy Scouts of America.
Born and raised in Connecticut, Jim has called Colorado his home for more than 35 years. He lives with his lovely wife, Patty, who’s a retired educator. They have two sons, Brian and Kevin, two wonderful daughters-in-law and two grandkids – all of whom help complete their lives and encourage them to create lasting memories every day. Brian, who followed in his father’s footsteps, now works with Jim to help change clients’ lives together. Aside from spending time with his family, Jim enjoys golfing, traveling and cheering on Colorado sports teams.
Raymond James is not affiliated with the above organizations.
