Sara takes a conservative approach to investing that involves diversification of asset classes and types of risk. She collaborates with other professionals to ensure that her clients' financial affairs regarding retirement, wealth transfer, health directives, insurance needs and other important issues are highly in order.

Her goals in serving her clients include providing a high level of service, an appropriate risk assessment, a careful stewardship of their assets and an enjoyable professional relationship.

She finds that her work involves her in many family matters and considers it a privilege and a blessing to serve as a trusted advisor in so many capacities.

Sara began her financial services career in 1984 in the branch management training program of AmSouth Bank and moved to the investment department in 1987. In 1994, she became a financial advisor with Morgan Keegan and joined Raymond James in 2012 with the firm's acquisition. She earned a bachelor's degree in early childhood education from the University of Alabama.

Sara is a Birmingham native and lives here with her husband, Mike. She is a member of the Home Garden Club and Independent Presbyterian Church and is an alumnus of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. In her free time, she enjoys arranging flowers, as well as making and selling jewelry.
