Christopher Ellis has a driving passion for the unique needs of small business owners. He enjoys the challenges of finding practical solutions to business structure, business continuation, sale of a business, as well as the estate and succession planning needs specific to this group. Chris strives to build his reputation as a partner in the development of successful financial plans—not just as a purveyor of financial products.
Chris holds his series 7, 9, 10 and 66 license and is a financial advisor. He affiliated his practice with Raymond James Financial Services (RJFS) in 2013 after launching his career at Merrill Lynch. He became Branch Manager with RJFS in 2022. Chris enjoys the independence afforded by RJFS in order to focus his practice in the areas of corporate retirement plan construction and retirement income planning. In addition to 401(k) and 403(b) plans, Chris is also proficient in the use of defined benefit (pension) plans, fringe benefit plans for key employees, SIMPLE and SEP IRAs, and other opportunities such as profit sharing and Roth 401(k) plans.
Chris is proud of his third-generation Idahoan heritage. He earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Northwest Nazarene University. He and his wife, RaeAnn, reside in Meridian along with their three children, Jackson, Avalyn and Anisten. When not working or spending time with his family, Chris enjoys spending time in the outdoors exploring the great State of Idaho.
