When it comes to helping his clients plan for their financial futures, Brian Layman believes in taking a personal approach – getting to know each of them as individuals by understanding their unique interests, values and long-term goals. By building every relationship on a foundation of trust and honesty, he can develop his clients’ personalized plans with an eye toward addressing their specific needs and objectives. Then, through ongoing communication, Brian monitors those plans, helping to ensure they reflect changes in his clients’ goals due to life events, such as marriages, the arrivals of children and grandchildren, and retirements, as well as economic and market factors.
For Brian, building long-lasting relationships is not new. Since entering the financial services field as a financial advisor trainee with Raymond James & Associates in 1996, he has put his talent as an honest and clear communicator to work in all aspects of financial planning.
A 1991 graduate of Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology, he holds several professional credentials including the wealth management specialist designation. Additionally, he has been awarded the Investment Management Consultant* designation by the Raymond James Institute for Investment Management Consulting. Brian and his wife, Kasey, and daughters, Ruby and Daisy, are longtime residents of Ponce Inlet, Florida. In his spare time, he enjoys surfing, tennis and traveling with his family.
*The Investment Management Consultant designation is awarded to those who complete the internal Raymond James Institute of Investment Management Consulting program.
