Zach serves as a financial advisor, specializing in financial planning for the team. He holds the Series 7 and 66 securities licenses. Prior to joining Liberty Wealth Management of Raymond James in 2018, Zach spent more than a decade as a television sportscaster at the local NBC and CBS affiliate. He started with the station in 2007 as a production assistant and worked his way to sports director.
Zach is a Duluth native, graduating from Duluth Marshall and then summa cum laude at St. Scholastica with a major in Journalism. Zach also studied in Washington, D.C. and at Georgetown as part of The Fund for American Studies (TFAS). While in the nation's capital, he took several economics courses and also was an intern writer for the popular political talk show, The McLaughlin Group.
Out of the office, Zach serves as the play-by-play commentator for the Minnesota Duluth hockey teams on My 9 Sports. A role he's filled since 2016, he’s proudly covered the Bulldogs in each of their three national championships seasons (2011, 2018, and 2019).
