Are you looking for a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional who seeks to act in your best interests? As your CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional at Brockmeier Financial Services, LLC, I follow a fiduciary standard of conduct, meaning I strive to always advise you and act in your best interests.
I’m a native of Missouri, growing up in a blue-collar neighborhood of St. Louis where neighbors knew each other and looked after one another. I saw my family and neighbors working hard for their wages. I learned the importance of our Midwest values of saving a little each payday and preparing for life’s uncertainties.
After serving in the U.S. Army, I returned to St. Louis and joined Edward Jones. Initially as a financial advisor, and later for 12 years as a general partner I was responsible for the firm’s financial and retirement planning services. After moving to Columbia with my sons, Greg and Tyson, I teamed up with Raymond James Financial Services, Inc. and created Brockmeier Financial Services, LLC in 2009.
We are a family-owned financial advisory practice serving owners of other family-owned businesses and couples working to build financial independence. Working with their tax and legal professionals, we help them identify, select and monitor tax-advantaged financial strategies and investment designed to meet their life and lifestyle goals, while respecting their risk tolerances and time horizons.
Our financial process, developed with many clients, is built upon the following actions our clients tell us they and their families value and recognize as critical to their success:
Learning who they are, what they need and want for themselves and who is important to them.
Analyzing their information to identify what contributes to their goals and what needs attention and then setting with them what priorities to address moving forward.
Designing a course of action based on their personal priorities and measures of success in reaching for their goals.
Clearly communicating how our recommended solutions and implementation planning will address their personal goals and how we will keep them informed of their progress.
Implementing upon their approval the agreed-upon program of strategies, tactics and investments.
Systematically reviewing and briefing them on the progress of their program in clear, graphics-supported reporting on an agreed-upon schedule and as requested.
