Tonya provides the financial knowledge and expertise to empower our clients to make confident financial decisions. She enjoys learning what is important to clients and turning “What if?” into a solid financial plan.

As a Certified Financial Planner professional, Tonya has attained the prestigious CFP® certification, the recognized standard of excellence in personal financial planning. She completed a rigorous and comprehensive program that covers the financial planning process, tax planning, employee benefits and retirement planning, estate planning, investment management and insurance. She adheres to the CFP Board’s code of ethics for integrity, objectivity, competence, fairness, confidentiality, professionalism and diligence.

Tonya earned an MBA with an emphasis in management from Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Missouri, and a bachelor’s degree in economics with a minor in business from the University of Colorado in Boulder, Colorado. She holds a certificate in financial planning from Northwestern University.

Tonya joined our team in 2021 after spending the majority of her career working for large asset managers in the Kansas City area.

She is a member of the Financial Planning Association and the Raymond James Women Financial Advisors Network, and works with the Steps of Faith Foundation, helping amputees in need.

Tonya grew up on both sides of the Kansas and Missouri state line before moving to Boulder, Colorado, to attend school. Tonya, her husband, and two daughters currently reside in Overland Park, KS. She spends most of her free time cheering on her girls at various sporting events throughout the year.
