Before embarking on his successful career in financial services, Jim spent an impressive 23 years in Active and Reserve Marine Corps Aviation, retiring in 2005 with the rank of Lt Col. His military background instilled in him a deep-seated culture of integrity, professionalism, and unwavering attention to detail—values that have continued to guide his approach in financial services.

A Scholar and Exceptional Aviator

Jim's academic journey began as a Tuition Scholar at Villanova University, where he earned his master's degree in history with a specialty in American Foreign Affairs. His passion for excellence continued as he attended Naval Aviation Flight Training in Pensacola, graduating with Honors and earning a coveted spot on the Commodore's List for Exceptional Performance, placing him in the top 1% of all Naval Aviators.

Prior to that, Jim received a Regent’s Scholarship to SUNY College at Geneseo, where he obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, laying the foundation for his diverse expertise.

Educator and Advocate

Jim's commitment to knowledge and education extends beyond his client interactions. He proudly serves as an Assistant Professor at The American College of Financial Services in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. There, he imparts his wisdom by teaching Retirement Planning and Estate Planning—essential elements of the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) and Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®) designations.
