Michelle uses her 35 years of industry experience to help her clients pursue important goals, from retiring to seeing their children graduate. She sees herself as a partner who can provide a sounding board for ideas, client-centric financial planning, and guidance when life gets rocky. Her process is simple: “We collaborate, we dream, we plan and then we execute the plan. Finally, we celebrate,” she says.
Although we live in a world that’s increasingly complex, she believes that life doesn’t have to be. Her straightforward approach favors investments with transparent risk profiles that clients can understand. “I listen, put myself in my client’s shoes and work to provide a path that is designed to respect their appetite for risk while focusing on their goals,” she says. She offers clients perspective and reason when it comes to finances, believing that in the end, math wins.
Michelle has been working with numbers her entire career, first as a banking regulator, then a banker, and now as an advisor. She first obtained the title of vice president, investments, at A.G. Edwards, later filling that role at Wachovia Securities and Wells Fargo Advisors. She joined Raymond James in January 2019.
A native of Magnolia, Texas, she holds a professional degree in banking and economics from Louisiana State University’s Graduate School of Banking, a bachelor’s degree in finance from Texas A&M University Corpus Christi, and an associate’s degree in computer science from Del Mar College.
She also enjoys spending time gardening, working with dog rescue groups, hiking and fishing. She lives in Corpus Christi with her husband, Donald; they have two grown sons, Donovan and Tyler.
