Tommy Cockrell began his career as a financial advisor in 1987 with Scharff & Jones, Inc., a firm that later became Morgan Keegan & Co., Inc., and is now Raymond James & Associates, Inc. He earned his Finance degree, graduating cum laude from Louisiana Tech University.

As a Certified Wealth Management Specialist®, Accredited Investment Fiduciary®, and Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor®, Tommy specializes in guiding individuals, families and institutions through comprehensive wealth management strategies – from accumulation to distribution.  He also serves on the Raymond James Retirement Plan & Institutional Advisory Council (RIAC) and works extensively with institutional accounts, including 401(k) and other retirement plans. 

Beyond his professional commitments, Tommy is involved in his community, currently serving on the Diocese of Shreveport Finance Council & Investment Committee. He and his wife, Dr. Robin Cockrell, reside in Benton, Louisiana and enjoy golfing, cooking, traveling, and spending quality time with their family.
