Melissa began her career in 1999 with Tom Bogard and Raymond James. Melissa has brought dedication and commitment to her roles as Investment Management Consultant and Branch Manager. She provides a service that is personal, caring and directed at the individual needs of her clients. Having an intimate knowledge of her clients and developing strong relationships has always been Melissa’s main objective.
Current licenses held include the Series 7, Series 66, Series 9/10, Colorado Life and Health Insurance and Long-Term Care. She was awarded a bachelor’s degree in finance from Colorado Technical University in 2017 and recently completed the CFP® Certification Professional Education Program.
Melissa says that growing up in a military family, saving for your future wasn’t something that was discussed. Because of her upbringing she works to foster an environment where anyone, no matter their demographics, would feel welcome and open to exploring and discovering their future financial goals.
Melissa believes in helping her community. She is a member of the Valor Associate Inclusion Network, Military Spouse Network, Network for Women Advisors, and the Pride Network. She is an ambassador for the Women’s Leadership Alliance and the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Melissa calls Colorado home where she lives with her husband Jessie, mom Bonnie, dog Bella, cats Rocky and Ariel, and mom’s dogs Midnight and Bear. Colorado is where they raised their children, Jenna, Courtney, Julia, and Collin. In her free time, she likes to spend time with her family and gets her granddaughter as much as possible. You can usually find them out on the paddle boards or kayaks, hiking and attempting to play golf.
