Showing clients how they can pursue their dreams and meaningful goals in life is what Brian enjoys most about his work as a financial advisor. He specializes in providing guidance on retirement, business and estate planning for the baby boomer generation. “When I sit down with a client, I evaluate where they are, and where they want to be and help show them how they can get there,” he says. Whether a client wants to travel the world or sell their business, he helps create the financial plan to pursue their objectives. “Life is a puzzle, and we want to help solve it.”
Brian is known for explaining complex financial topics in a clear and concise way, and believes in equipping clients with the information they need to proceed with confidence. Prior to joining Raymond James with Columbia Associates Financial Group in 2019, he was a financial advisor with Pacific Capital Resource Group for eight years.
Brian received his degree in finance with a minor in economics from the Lundquist College of Business at the University of Oregon. He took advantage of studying business abroad in Australia, as well as traveled to Central America and Southeast Asia after his degree. He returned to reside in Lake Oswego, where he was born and raised, because of his love for the Pacific Northwest and the unique culture of Portland.
An advocate for the Surfrider Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to preserving the world’s oceans, waves and beaches, he enjoys many watersports including kiteboarding, surfing and paddleboard racing. In the winter he enjoys snowboarding. He is married to Kristina; they have a son, Sebastian, and a dog, Brodie.
