Jacob Bugger joined the Raymond James Renewable Energy Investments group in 2026. Prior to Raymond James, Jacob built a distinguished career spanning more than two decades across finance, accounting, investment management and executive leadership. Throughout his career, he has overseen complex financial operations, managed large investment portfolios and led debt restructurings while developing strategic financial models to support long-term business growth and performance.
In addition to his broad financial expertise, Jacob has significant experience in renewable energy investments and tax equity financing, along with deep knowledge in compliance oversight and board-level financial leadership. Among his most notable accomplishments, Jacob played a central role in the recapitalization of his previous employer, successfully facilitating the introduction of a significant institutional private equity partner. His collaborative approach, operational focus and commitment to continuous improvement have driven consistent results across a variety of industries.
Jacob earned degrees in both economics and finance after double majoring at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.
