Drew Weisman joined Raymond James in 2026 as senior managing director, head of Leveraged Finance & Debt Advisory. Mr. Weisman has over 20 years of investment banking experience originating, structuring and executing leveraged finance, private debt, debt advisory and restructuring transactions. Prior to joining Raymond James, he was a managing director at Jefferies, where he was founder and global head of the private debt finance and advisory group and head of consumer and retail leveraged finance. He also led several other industry verticals including specialty distribution, metals and mining, paper and packaging, maritime, and power and utilities. Mr. Weisman also spent several years in London as head of European structuring and origination, where he was responsible for building out Jefferies’ sponsor finance business in the region. Mr. Weisman also held positions at Gleacher Partners, Imperial Capital and Huron Consulting Group. He received a BA in business from Lafayette College.
