Lee Helman

Part of Raymond James since 2021, Lee Helman has over 25 years of global M&A experience, almost all of which he’s devoted to the consumer and retail industry. Today, he is responsible for leading the Consumer & Retail team’s activities in the e-commerce, direct-to-consumer, and home furnishings and decor sectors.

Mr. Helman previously served as partner at Financo for 15 years, advising on over 100 M&A transactions, representing over $15 billion in value. Prior to that, he served as CFO of Polo Jeans Company and was also named one of Investment Dealer Digest’s Top 40 under 40.

Mr. Helman holds an MBA from the Questrom Graduate School of Business at Boston University and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Tufts University, where he was a member of the men’s NCAA tennis team. He currently serves on the Children’s Health Board at Columbia University Medical Center and as a charter member of the Tufts Financial Network Advisory Board.
