Ellis Chaplin is a lead within the Defense & Government Services Investment Banking practice at Raymond James. Mr. Chaplin has significant M&A advisory experience within the federal, state and local government services and technology markets, having completed numerous transactions for leading private equity firms, public corporations and private and family-owned companies. He also has advised on equity and debt raises for public and private businesses. Mr. Chaplin is active with leading organizations in the sector, including the Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce, ACG National Capital and the Northern Virginia Technology Council.
Prior to joining Raymond James, Mr. Chaplin was a member of the aerospace, defense and government services group at BB&T Capital Markets. Before this, Mr. Chaplin was a member of Grant Thornton’s federal practice and served as a legislative advisor in the U.S. House of Representatives.
Mr. Chaplin earned his MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
