Sam Maness joined Raymond James in 2015 as a managing director in the Defense and Government Services group. Prior to Raymond James, Mr. Maness worked for BB&T Capital Markets for 14 years and was primarily focused on defense technology and government services businesses. During this time he completed transactions with Boeing, General Dynamics, Raytheon, L-3 Communications, Cubic, ManTech, SRA, and CSC, among many others. Mr. Maness received his undergraduate degree in economics and German from Duke University in 2001.
