Ian McArdle joined Raymond James in 2020 and currently serves as a vice president in the Defense & Government Investment Banking group. Since joining the firm, Mr. McArdle has advised on numerous sell-side M&A transactions and capital raises across the defense technology and government services sectors, working with a broad range of both strategic and private equity acquirers. Prior to Raymond James, Mr. McArdle focused on business valuations, ownership transition planning, and M&A consulting at a boutique investment bank specializing in the defense, government, and intelligence markets. He began his career at KPMG in Advisory Services, supporting clients across both the public and private sectors. Mr. McArdle holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from James Madison University, with concentrations in taxation and European business, respectively. He is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
