Nicolas Ospina

Nico Ospina joined Raymond James in 2014 as an ECM analyst for the Financial Institutions Sales and Trading group. He currently serves as a vice president in the Financial Services Investment Banking group with focus on the depository space. With over eight years of experience, Mr. Ospina has provided investment banking services to depository institutions in the U.S., including buy-side and sell-side M&A, capital formation through private placements and public offerings (equity and debt) and mutual conversions. Mr. Ospina graduated with a B.A. degree in economics from the University of Illinois at Chicago and an MBA degree in finance from Robert Morris University in Illinois. He is a Spanish native speaker born and raised in Colombia, and he is a former NCAA D1 tennis student-athlete.
