McNeill Wester

McNeill Wester is a managing director with over 25 years of investment banking and legal experience. He joined Raymond James’ healthcare team in 2023 from his position as group head of Coker Capital, a healthcare-focused M&A advisory firm. His practice focuses on healthcare services including behavioral health and physician services. Mr. Wester has previously held investment banking positions at McColl Partners (now Deloitte Corporate Finance), First Union Capital Markets (now Wells Fargo Securities), and Fennebresque & Co. where he served as a Managing Director, General Counsel, and Founding Partner. He also practiced law at Moore & Van Allen, where he advised clients on corporate and securities matters. Mr. Wester earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science and psychology from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Juris Doctorate from the School of Law at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he served as an editor on the North Carolina Banking Journal.
