John Veith

Based in Nashville, John Veith is a managing director in the Convenience Store and Fuel Products Distribution Investment Banking group at Raymond James, providing mergers and acquisitions and capital raising advisory services to a diverse set of clients across the downstream energy industry. Preceding his current role, Mr. Veith served as assistant to the chair of Raymond James, where he directly supported the firm’s long‐time Chair Tom James and the broader Raymond James executive management team. Prior to Raymond James, Mr. Veith was an associate in the corporate advisory services division of The Blackstone Group. While at Blackstone, John completed numerous mergers and acquisitions transactions in the packaging, retail, energy and healthcare industries. Prior to that experience, Mr. Veith served in the investment banking division at Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc. in New York City. Mr. Veith holds an MBA from the University of Virginia Darden Graduate School of Business, where he was the recipient of the Faculty Award for Academic Excellence and a BS in business administration from Indiana University.
