Chip Grayson joined Raymond James in 2012 in connection with the acquisition of Morgan Keegan. He joined Morgan Keegan in 1993, where he focused on M&A assignments and financings in the transportation and logistics industry. He was involved in over 60 completed acquisitions and over 40 financings for both public and privately held companies. During his tenure at Morgan Keegan, Mr. Grayson was also the head of corporate investment banking and a member of Morgan Keegan’s executive committee from 2004 until 2012 and was head of mergers and acquisitions from 1999 to 2004. Prior to joining Morgan Keegan, he practiced corporate law at the firm now known as Baker Donelson, where he was involved in numerous acquisitions and financings. Grayson holds a BBA, magna cum laude, in banking and finance from the University of Mississippi and a JD from the University of Virginia School of Law.
