Brodie uses his extensive experience servicing Michigan school districts, community colleges and local governments to assist clients in structuring and obtaining funds for a variety of projects. Prior to joining Raymond James in early 2016, he was a senior banker with William Blair & Company and the former deputy superintendent of finance and operations for Plymouth Canton Community Schools. Brodie has been an active public servant, serving as vice chairman of the City of Dearborn’s Pension Board of Trustees and as a board member for the University of Michigan Club of Greater Detroit and Vista Maria in Dearborn Heights. He is an active member of the MSBO, MASA, MCCBOA and MGFOA, and was recently appointed as a board member of the Municipal Advisory Council of Michigan. Brodie graduated from the University of Michigan’s Ford School of Public Policy in 2003, the Steven Ross School of Business in 2001, and the Michigan Leadership Institute’s Superintendent’s Academy in 2007. He is a former member of the University of Michigan football team and scholar athlete.
