Raymond James named finalist for record number of M&A Advisor Awards

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Raymond James Investment Banking has been named a finalist for 36 awards, including “Investment Banking Firm of the Year,” at the 14th Annual M&A Advisor Awards. This represents a record number of nominations for Raymond James and is the highest number of nominations received by any investment banking firm for this year’s awards.

Specifically, 17 deals completed by Raymond James have been selected by an independent panel of judges as nominees for awards that span 21 separate deal categories. In the “Technology Deal of the Year (over $100MM to $250MM)” category alone, Raymond James deals secured six of the eight available nominations.

“We are extremely pleased with our impressive showing this year. This list of nominees not only speaks to the strength of our overall M&A franchise, but also to the breadth of our industry expertise,” said Jim Bunn, head of Raymond James Investment Banking.

Winners will be announced Tuesday, November 17, at a gala celebration hosted by The M&A Advisor at the New York Athletic Club.
