Raymond James receives award for best ETF offering
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – ETF.com recently recognized Raymond James for having the “Best ETF Offering” in the independent broker/dealer category at the publisher’s third annual ETF Awards for Excellence dinner held March 16 in New York. The award recognized Raymond James for its broad range of ETF offerings and its new ETF-only portfolios, which offer investors low-cost, broad-based exposure to the ETF market.
In making the announcement, ETF.com noted that each finalist was judged based on that firm’s research, data, tools, trading capabilities and its education for advisors and investors. In the category, Raymond James bested finalists Ameriprise, LPL and Securities America.
Accepting the award for Raymond James was Glen H. Flego, regional director of Raymond James Investment Advisors Division (IAD) which, in November 2011, launched a new platform of No-Transaction-Fee ETFs for its custodial clients.
“We are delighted to have received this award,” said IAD President Bill Van Law. “It is further recognition that Raymond James’ full-service platform for RIAs is unique and includes one of the best NTF-ETF programs in the industry.”
The ETF.com Awards Dinner celebrates the people, products and firms that are breaking new ground and helping to deliver better investment outcomes for investors.
