Greg Goldberg

Greg is a director in the firm’s National Housing Group. Greg’s practice focuses on financing affordable and workforce multifamily housing for private developers, nonprofits, and governmental entities. He was previously at RBC Capital Markets and Citi Community Capital for nearly 26 years where he financed hundreds of affordable, workforce, and senior housing projects as well as community facilities with an aggregate par amount of more than $5 billion. He is experienced with tax-exempt and taxable financing structures utilizing public offering as well as private placement / direct purchase executions. His expertise includes financing structures utilizing FHA, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, various bank products, and bond insurance. Greg structured an innovative $400 million bank credit facility to recycle Private Activity Bond Cap for one of the largest bond issuers in the country.

Prior to becoming an investment banker, Greg worked as a financial advisor to nonprofit senior housing and care providers and as a developer of independent, assisted living and skilled nursing communities. Greg received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Colorado and a Master of Business Administration degree from Loyola University of Chicago. He holds Series 7, 52, 63 and 79 securities licenses.
