John Nguyen joined Raymond James in 2011 as a vice president in the San Francisco office. John has 14 years of municipal finance experience and has worked on more than 225 transactions, performing bond sizing and tax-rate compliance analysis on more than $4.5 billion in bonds for California K-12 school districts. Prior to Raymond James, John was with Wedbush Securities and George K. Baum & Company, where he worked on numerous financings that included pension obligation bonds, general obligation bonds, revenue bonds, certificates of participation, bond anticipation notes and tax and revenue anticipation notes. John earned a degree in economics from the University of California, Berkeley. He holds Series 7 and 63 licenses.
