Tyler Nelson,

Tyler Nelson is a Financial Planner with Raymond James. While focusing his business on client’s individual financial objectives, Tyler believes the most successful investment strategies look at the big picture. Tyler is dedicated to helping build and preserve wealth for you and your family; and works hard to do so while assisting you in realizing your goals through long-term financial strategies using portfolio management, retirement planning, and more. While not quite a native, Tyler moved from Michigan to Florida at 7 years old and has called Jacksonville home ever since. He has had a passion for investments from an early age, buying precious metals and collectibles before he could legally own traditional securities. Tyler joins Raymond James from Merrill Lynch, where he spent 3 years working with employer sponsored benefits; also achieving SIE, series 7, and series 66 licensing. While at Raymond James, Tyler has achieved the designation of being an Accredited Asset Management Specialist^®; and plans to add to that. Outside of the office Tyler enjoys staying active, travelling, and spending time with loved ones.
