A.J. began his financial planning career in 2010 after completing his Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Colorado. While attending school A.J. participated in the internship program offered at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, developing an early understanding for capital markets and the financial services industry. This early experience eventually turned into a passion for helping individual investors and families navigate the ever-changing world of financial planning and investing.
A.J. has earned the designation of Certified Financial Planner, CFP®. The CFP® marks proficiency in financial planning, charitable giving, risk management, investing, tax planning, retirement and employment benefits, estate planning and ensures an ongoing commitment to continuing education as well as upholding the CFP® Board’s Code of Ethics.
When he is not analyzing data, A.J. likes spending time with his family in the outdoors; fly fishing, golfing, and skiing. He grew up in Albuquerque, NM and resides in Colorado Springs, CO with his wife Erika.
