Chris joined Crux Wealth Advisors in 2021 as a Financial Planner at our Fairport, NY office. Using a holistic wealth management approach, he’s able to relate to his clients on a more personal level, beyond investment portfolios, to address every aspect of their financial lives as a team. Chris sets realistic expectations and then guides and educates his clients – individuals, families, and business – on their financial options through open, authentic, and honest lines of communication, all while keeping their short- and long-term goals in mind and developing the pathways to achieve their desired outcomes.
Chris was inspired to pursue a career in wealth management at just 12 years old from the first time he read, Simple Wealth, Inevitable Wealth, by Nick Murray, which he still highly recommends to his clients. His father and business partner, Lee, gave him the book that helped instill the values he plans to pass to his sons, an understanding that money equals options. The book shares that our behavior with money determines how many of those options remain open. While it may be challenging to attain wealth, Chris understands that maintaining wealth can also be challenging. Chris finds his career rewarding because he can provide others with guidance to sort through the various complexities of the financial planning process and help his clients turn their livelihoods into generational wealth.
Before joining our team, Chris was a Financial Advisor with RBC Wealth Management from 2014-2021. He holds various professional designations, including Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP®), Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®), and Certificated Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CFPA®). Chris earned two bachelor’s degrees in marketing and management from Florida Atlantic University.
I was born and raised in Rochester, NY, and then spent the better part of a decade in South Florida, all while pretending I would not be joining my father at his practice back home in NY. After meeting my wife, Mim, we started our family, and I brought them back to Rochester and joined my father professionally. I suppose it’s true that you should never say never!
Mim and I have two wonderful sons who keep us incredibly active. I love to do anything that gets us outside together to enjoy the outdoors while spending quality time as a family. When I’m able, I also like being involved in our local community, and in 2019 I was proud to receive the Rochester Rotary Service Award.
