Jim joined the Crux Wealth Advisors team in 2020 as a Financial Advisor, an incredibly exciting growth opportunity for our group to expand into the East Coast and establish a new satellite office in New York. As an advisor, Jim is responsible for managing client portfolios, establishing financial plans based on client goals, meeting and checking-in regularly with clients, and continuously keeping up-to-date on the latest financial news and strategies.
Throughout his career, Jim’s top priority has always been for his clients to have complete trust in him and the financial guidance he provides when planning for their future to reach long-term goals. By developing meaningful working relationships, Jim is often the first call that his clients make when they have concerns, questions, or other life-changing decisions.
True to his word, Jim is known for his accountability. When something is promised, his policy is to deliver before the deadline because of the commitment he maintains to clients. He knew he wanted to be in the financial industry because of his interest in the market, and love of working with numbers, but most importantly, having a role in helping others.
He gained valuable experience in the industry and spent ten years at Morgan Stanley as an Assistant Vice President and Financial Advisor. He was recently with UBS Financial Services for nine years as the Vice President of Wealth Management.
My life outside of the office is focused on my family. I am originally from West Seneca, NY, which is just outside of Buffalo. Having grown up here, my wife, Patti, and I consider ourselves very lucky to have raised our children, Alexis (Lexi), Ryan, and Hannah, in this familiar place as well.
Although our children have reached or are nearing adulthood, we still enjoy keeping active and spending time together on camping trips and heading to the mountain to go skiing together. I also like spending my free time woodworking and building things because it gets me out of my day-to-day routine and challenges me in new and creative ways.
