Outside of the office, my partner, Andrei, and I enjoy an active lifestyle. We were both raised in Long Beach, CA, and enjoy riding bikes to the beach to take in the beautiful sights available in our backyard. I’m even lucky enough to live close to work, it’s just a two-minute drive or six-minute walk. I love learning new things and recently taught myself how to make hot chocolate bombs which has been fun to give to friends and family as a special treat!
I have a passion for working with youth through mentoring. I’ve had the opportunity to volunteer at my old schools’ mentoring and career days as well as sciences fairs, which has been great platforms to share my story and help inspire the next generation of leaders. In the last few years, I’ve had the pleasure of volunteering with multiple organizations in various roles. These include being a participant at the City of Carson Autism Awareness 5k, as a judge for the Cal State Dominguez Hills Student Research Day, a Sharefest Community Development Inc. volunteer and project coordinator, a United Way of Greater Los Angeles Campaign Ambassador, a Clean Wilmington Group Leader, along with involvement in other organizations such as the Barbara Bush Houston Literacy Foundation, Junior Achievement of Southwest Texas, the Los Angeles Food Bank, and VFW Post 2967.
