Tyler joined Key Wealth Management, an affiliate group of Crux Wealth Advisors, in 2020 as a Wealth Advisor. In his role, Tyler works closely with our Operations Team, Wealth Advisors, and clients to help execute all aspects of our client’s experience. He is instrumental in conveying financial advice, guidance, and providing comprehensive service to an already established and matured client base. He has an essential role in helping fulfill our team’s mission while elevating our service to help ensure client’s needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
Tyler was attracted to the industry because of his passion for helping others, especially when it comes to teaching others about the complex industry, which is known for being highly technical and confusing to many. However, Tyler is able to break down these details into relatable and understandable terms. More so, while working towards making our client's goals a reality, Tyler will take a holistic approach that encompasses each aspect of one’s life from estate planning, insurance, debt management, tax efficiency, and education planning. He also aims to give each client a sense of relief when navigating their finances so they can work more confidentially toward financial impendence.
Before joining our team, Tyler began his career with Ameriprise Financial in 2016. His first role was as a Financial Planning Specialist, where he ran financial plans for the firm, which allowed him to verify that goals were on target and objectives were in place to help reach new goals. This ground-level view was the perfect introduction to the industry before becoming a Financial Advisor in 2017 where he worked directly with clients through comprehensive planning and managing assets.
Tyler earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Oklahoma Wesleyan University. Beyond his formal education, he continues to be dedicated to professional development and continually increasing his knowledge base. He has earned the Accredited Portfolio Management Advisor (APMA®) designation from the College for Financial Planning and is currently in the process of achieving the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) designation from Rice University.

I am originally from Salt Lake City, Utah, but I spent most of my life just north of Tulsa, Oklahoma. A lot of my time growing up was spent playing sports, going to the lake, and keeping active in general. When I was in college, I continued to stay active by playing college baseball and was proud to graduate Magna Cum Laude.
While so much has changed, a lot has also stayed the same. I feel lucky to have a career that I’m passionate about, but I also enjoy keeping just as active as ever. I like to play golf, go for hikes, travel, and be outdoors whenever possible. I also try to find volunteer opportunities and dedicate some of my time to our local animal shelter.
