Dave is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), and has been in the investment business since 1984. He earned his bachelor’s degree in finance and economics from Lake Superior State University in Sault Ste. Marie and has owned and operated Schweitzer Capital Group since 1996.

Dave serves on the Cherryland Electric Cooperative Board of Directors and is a member of the CFA Institute. He is a native of Detroit, and now lives in Traverse City with his wife, Debra. They have two grown daughters.
