I strongly believe a financial plan should be the focus of the relationship between a client and their advisor, not just the investments. A lot of clients have worked with advisors for many years that were only managing their investments and they had very positive experiences.

However, times have changed. The days of limited information are over. You and I can both look up the same information on investments. Cost, price, research; most of us have access to it in a world where information now travels at the speed of light. Investment management has become the bare minimum.

Where is the value? Advice and planning. A financial plan can help identify the risks that you are overlooking, helping you make decisions that over time can result in immense savings, either through investments, taxes, risk management, etc. It is important to note investment management is a key part of the financial plan, however I try to help clients understand that it is not the only thing that matters.

I am extremely passionate about this industry. I enjoy working with my clients through their financial lives and helping them make sense of it. I truly enjoy people and love to have a conversation, which I feel allows me to help my clients through issues that may not always have a clear financial answer.

I help clients in the areas of retirement planning, investment management, insurance planning, tax & estate planning, and education planning. I hold a B.S.B.A. in Accounting and Personal Financial Planning, equipping me with the knowledge and technical skills to work through complex financial issues.

I hold the Accredited Investment Fiduciary Designation through the Center for Fiduciary Studies, which provides me with training and continuing education in fiduciary practices that are not required by every financial advisor. The benefit to my clients is a refreshing wealth management experience with objective advice.
