Education is a cornerstone of Susan's approach. "Empowering clients through knowledge is a top priority," she states. "We also engage with their children and grandchildren to set them on the right path financially." This family-centric perspective is integral to her comprehensive planning process.
With over two decades in the financial services industry, Susan's passion for finance stems from its dynamic nature and constant learning opportunities. "This journey has enriched my ability to serve my clients better, particularly in portfolio management," she shares.
Before joining Raymond James in September 2020, Susan was a financial advisor and limited partner at Edward Jones. Susan serves clients in many parts of the United States. Her career began at American Century Investments, and she holds a bachelor’s degree in business and fashion merchandising from Baker University.
Susan is active in various organizations outside her professional commitments, including Women in Financial Services and the Purr Gamma Bark at Wayside Waifs’ Sorority. She has also served as membership chair for the National Association of Women Business Owners in San Antonio and volunteers for several nonprofit organizations, including the Alzheimer’s Association.
She lives in Kansas City with her husband of over 30 years, Brian. They cherish family time with their three children—Taylor, Ally, and Weston—and their beloved dog, Gracie.
She loves spending time at the lake, traveling, and enjoying outdoor activities in her free time.
