Karen Bruns

Investment Executive

With over 15 years in the financial services industry, Karen enjoys working closely with the families and individuals we serve, providing tailored financial guidance to help them pursue their goals. Organized and detail oriented, she has expertise in comprehensive financial planning services, with a specialty in serving women in business and women in transition.

She began her financial services career with the DCH Financial Services team as an administrative assistant, going on to hold licensed sales assistant and account executive positions before becoming investment executive and co-owner in 2014. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Oklahoma in political science with minors in communication and history.

Active in her community, Karen is a member of Grace Lutheran Church as well as Leadership Tulsa Class 53. She has been involved in various parent volunteer roles at Eisenhower International School, Carver Middle School and Booker T. Washington High School. She previously served on the board for Booker T. Washington High School’s Foundation for Excellence.

Karen enjoys photography, reading and traveling in her spare time. Part of a military family, Karen has lived in several places around the world, including Lawton, Oklahoma, Fort Sheridan, Illinois, Washington, D.C., Stuttgart, West Germany and Okinawa, Japan. She currently resides in Tulsa with her husband, Philip. They have two children, Matthew and Allison who attend The University of Oklahoma in Norman
