Thomas Wayne Dedrick, Jr. was born on November 21, 1989 in Northport, AL and grew up in Tuscaloosa his whole life. He graduated from Hillcrest High school in 2008 where he led the baseball team (2007) and basketball team (2008) to State Championship titles. Upon graduating, he moved to Arizona after being drafted in the MLB draft by the Milwaukee Brewers. Wayne played professional baseball for four years and then moved back to Alabama to attend the University of Alabama in Huntsville and play basketball for the university. After completing his sports career he started a logistics company, W.D. Logistics, in 2018 and ran it for 4 years. He is the loving father of two beautiful girls. His oldest daughter, Layla, is 13 and his youngest daughter, Oakleigh, is 2. Wayne enjoys fishing, spending time at the family cabin and playing golf.
