Thomas Wayne Dedrick, Jr. is a proud son of Alabama, born in Northport and raised in Tuscaloosa. A standout athlete and natural leader, Wayne graduated from Hillcrest High School in 2008, where he played a pivotal role in leading both the baseball and basketball teams to state championships.
Following high school, Wayne was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers and spent four years playing professional baseball in Arizona. He later returned to his home state to attend the University of Alabama in Huntsville, continuing his athletic journey as a member of the university’s basketball team.
In 2018, Wayne shifted gears from sports to business, launching W.D. Logistics, a venture he successfully led for four years. His background in athletics instilled a deep appreciation for discipline, strategy, and teamwork, values that continue to guide his professional path. Beyond his career, Wayne is a devoted father to two daughters, ages 15 and 3. When he's off the clock, you’ll likely find him fishing, golfing, or unwinding at the family cabin, embracing the outdoors and cherishing time with loved ones.
