Sarah Simmers brings a unique blend of client service expertise, operational leadership, and a deep-rooted passion for community engagement to her role at Definition Private Wealth and Consulting of Raymond James. Originally from Massachusetts, Sarah is a proud graduate of the University of St. Joseph and now calls Dunedin, Florida home.
Before transitioning into the financial services industry, Sarah spent 15 years as a Senior Animal Care Specialist at Busch Gardens Tampa, where she specialized in the care of giraffes and hoofstock. She later served as Director of Operations for the Dunedin Chamber of Commerce, helping to foster local business growth and community partnerships.
Sarah is also an active volunteer, having contributed her time to organizations such as Tampa Bay Watch and Best Buddies. She proudly served as an ambassador for the SeaWorld Busch Gardens Conservation Fund for over a decade, reflecting her lifelong commitment to conservation and service. She is also a regular blood donor, finding meaningful ways to give back to her community.
Outside of work, Sarah enjoys life in Dunedin with her husband: traveling, camping, kayaking, and gardening in her free time—embracing the outdoors and the vibrant Gulf Coast lifestyle.
