As a Senior Vice President of Investments and Managing Director of Brodeur Capital Management, I have been advising a select group of families and small businesses for 29 years-with more than two decades served at Raymond James. My investment advisory process includes the day to day management of my clients’ investments, along with comprehensive financial planning tailored to the specific objectives and unique situation of each client. Collaborating with my team, our mission is to help our clients preserve and manage their wealth, while reducing overall investment risk.

After two years in the mortgage industry, I accepted a position as a financial advisor at Prudential Securities in 1993. After seven years of serving clients and building my clientele, I moved my practice to Raymond James in 2000. Prior to graduating with a bachelor's degree in finance from Michigan State University, I completed an investment internship with Prescott, Ball and Turben in East Lansing. I currently hold a 63, 65 and Series 7 license as well a life insurance license. Over the past decade, I have achieved both an Accredited Investment Fiduciary designation and a Wealth Management Specialist designation. I have been recognized as a member of the Raymond James Presidents Club in numerous years including 2022.

Since moving to Traverse City 30 years ago, I have served the community in a variety of organizations including as a past board member of the Traverse City Curling Club, past secretary of the Optimist Club and former treasurer of the East Traverse Catholic Credit Union. I have also enjoyed coaching at the Y.M.C.A., Traverse City Little League and Traverse Area Girls Softball. Currently I am Chairman of the Finance Council for the Immaculate Conception Church and serve as President of the Grand Traverse Area Catholic Schools Foundation.

Originally from Ft. Lauderdale and Mackinac Island, I live in Traverse City with my wife, Shelly. We have four adult children: Jack is an emergency medicine resident and lives in Grand Rapids with his wife, Natalie; Abby is attending Physician Assistant School at Salus University in Philadelphia and Ella is a senior at Michigan State University. In addition to running and biking, I enjoy boating, golf, skiing and traveling with my family and friends.
