How we build a financial plan tailored to you

A customized financial plan serves as the framework for pursuing your goals. To help us build this plan, we follow four steps for moving forward and addressing your needs.

Understand
We begin with a discussion – to build an understanding of your personal goals, current financial situation, investment experience and risk tolerance.

Design
We analyze what you have shared with us and design your plan. We present our recommendations, answer your questions and outline the steps we need to take to implement your plan.

Implement
With your approval, we execute your customized plan. This involves the selection of specific account types, investment products and optional services, and the handling of all paperwork.

Manage
We continually monitor the progress of your plan relative to your objectives, suggest any changes when needed, and provide ongoing reporting of your account activity.

The "PLANADVISER Top 100 Retirement Plan Advisers" list is compiled from responses to the PLANADVISER Retirement Plan Adviser Survey. The list is drawn solely from a set of quantitative variables and information in the survey supplied by the advisers themselves. To become eligible for this quantitative listing, advisers must complete the annual PLANADVISER Retirement Plan Adviser Survey, fielded each September. A subsegment of the questions was used to determine eligibility for the Top 100. Categories in which advisers compete are determined by the number of advisers and the number of total employees (including support staff). We highlight the quantitative standouts according to the dollar value of qualified plan AUA as well as the number of plans under advisement. The award is not representative of any one client's experience, and is not an endorsement, and is not indicative of advisor's future performance. Raymond James is not affiliated with the Financial Times. Individuals had to have 65 or more plans or at least $500 million in AUA; teams needed to advise at least $1.5 billion in assets or a minimum of 125 plans; and multi-office teams needed to oversee $2.5 billion in plan assets or 200 or more plans.
