Matt Kern has been serving the financial needs of professionals, business owners and their families for more than 35 years. Throughout his time in the Charlotte area, Matt has been active in organizations such as Rotary International, Young Life and Patriot’s Path, which helps equip veterans with post-military career transition strategies. Matt is co-founder of About Our Father’s Business, a non-profit on a mission to restore dignity and bring hope to the underserved in our communities.

A 1987 graduate of James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia, Matt has four children and a granddaughter scattered all over the country. In his spare time, he enjoys golf, reading and time with family.
