David began his financial services career in 1980 by accepting a role with Piper Jaffray & Hopwood. In 1987, he transferred to A.G. Edwards, where he was later promoted to first vice president. Two mergers later, David joined Raymond James, a company he admires for its client-first culture. David holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Brigham Young University.
Born in Hawaii while his dad was in the Navy, David grew up in Buhl, Idaho. In addition to traveling to 37 states and 30 countries, David served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Nagoya, Japan, for two years. He’s also been in scouting for 15 years and is currently the scoutmaster for Troop 150. In his free time, David enjoys ice fishing, snow and water skiing, and traveling. He and his wife, Janice, have three daughters and three grandchildren.
