Mark brings a unique perspective to financial management. Prior to becoming a financial advisor, he was a business owner for over 14 years, and has had the experience of financial advising, serving his customers, and caring for his family. He uses this past business experience to help his clients understand the necessity of managing risks while maximizing returns.
Mark practices morally responsible investing, using pro-family and pro-life values in investment and financial choices. By applying this philosophy to our finances, he believes we become more than sound investors, we become good stewards.
Mark worked his way through college in the oil field, completing his undergraduate degree at the University of Louisiana – Lafayette in 1987. He has been married to his wife Kendall for thirty years, and together have three children. He is an active member of his church, Sts. Simon & Jude, serving on the Pastoral Council and as an Acolyte. He is a member of the Market Technicians Association, the National Association of Christian Financial Counselors, the Association for Catholic Investing and Kingdom Advisors. He also carries the Qualified Kingdom Advisor™ designation and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional.
Mark joined Dimpel, Rhoades & Associates in February of 2013 and has been with Raymond James since 2010. He began as a financial advisor with Smith Barney in Lafayette, Louisiana in 2007. Prior to working as a financial advisor, Mark enjoyed a 20 year career in the food distribution and processing industry.
Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the certification marks CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, and in the U.S., which it awards to individuals who successfully complete CFP Board's initial and ongoing certification requirements.
