Teri joined the company in April 2013 after a 13-year career as a Financial Advisor in Wichita Kansas. The majority of those years were focused on managing investment portfolios as well as evaluating insurance and financial planning. She believes in staying well-educated about current market conditions and viewing client situations from a comprehensive view. She is happy to be a part of a team that shares the same client centered focus.

Her expertise is in portfolio analysis, research and insurance planning. Teri's knowledge of insurance and estate planning strategies are beneficial to clients throughout the financial planning and wealth management processes.

Prior to her financial career, she studied business management at Tabor College as well as other universities. Teri spent 6 years in service to individuals with disabilities. Although a different industry, her responsibilities entailed understanding individual needs, developing personalized plans and assisting in their implementation.

Teri and her family relocated to Lawrence in 2012. Teri's son Nico is a graduate student overseas at a research university. Her daughter Jaycie attends Florida Institute of Technology studying Astronomy and Astrophysics. Jaycie has been a member of the DMKA team assisting in office duties for 4 years. Teri enjoys time with family, travel and civic involvement.
