Ben has extensive experience in financial planning having started as a financial advisor with First Investors (FIC) in 1985. In the year 2000, Ben earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification. After a distinguished career at FIC, Ben established the Dominos Farms branch office of Raymond James Financial Services in August of 2010. In 2019 Ben also began running the Chelsea Raymond James office.

Currently, Ben divides his time between managing the 2 Financial Services teams at Dominos Farms & Chelsea and wealth management for individuals and families, as well as public schools. Over the years, he has developed a specialty in retirement planning, charitable planning and asset management. Like all members of his team, he attends numerous professional conferences each year in order to continuously improve his knowledge of the industry and skills as a planner.

Ben has been married to his lovely bride Jane, a former a non-profit executive, for over 32 years. They have 2 children, Emily (UofM, MBA-Ross) and Jackson (MSU, College of Veterinary Medicine). The Griffith family actively support many charities, education and the arts in Washtenaw County. Ben is an advocate for the Shelter Association of Washtenaw County frequently visiting and providing support for the Delonis Center. Ben also has a passion for supporting youth and for many years he was a youth counselor at First United Methodist Church. Further, he served on the state board of Child and Family Services of Michigan from 2002-2021 and has also played an integral role in establishing kindergarten round up programs in local underserved communities. Additionally, Ben is very active with Operation Good Cheer, a program that provides Christmas gifts for foster children in MI.
