Donald Morris advises families and the people they care about with one-on-one planning and guidance to help them achieve their retirement and financial goals; often when they are managing significant personal events such as divorce or loss of a family member. He believes that for his clients to feel comfortable and confident about their future, it is his responsibility to educate them every step of the path towards achieving their vision. Don’s clients rely on him to make the complex simple with clear explanations and timely personal follow up.
His clients appreciate working with a financial advisor who lives and works locally and is always available to meet with them to answer their questions and monitor their ongoing progress. They often refer to him as the financial advisor for their family as he has the pleasure of now working with the grandchildren of some of his first clients.
As an independent financial advisor with more than 30 years of experience, Don incorporates his understanding of his client's investment experience and risk tolerance into the financial plan he creates for them. He crafts a solution that meets their needs today with sufficient flexibility for unknowns the future may hold. In addition to working at Raymond James, Don serves as an arbitrator for FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority) and helps decide and settle consumer complaints.
As current Scoutmaster of Boy Scout Troop 418 in Hilliard, Ohio where his son earned his Eagle Scout designation as he and his father received theirs, his work/life principles are deeply rooted in his Scout experience. The adage "treat people as you would have them treat you" is profoundly important to him as a father, Scoutmaster and Financial Advisor. Members of his troop look to Don for leadership, encouragement, support and a steady hand. Similarly, his clients appreciate his experience, guidance and commitment to developing long-lasting relationships based on honesty and trust.
