Emily comes to our team with an extensive history in customer service. She enjoys working with people to achieve their goals and will assist in any way that she can.
Graduating from Ball State University with a B.S. in Elementary Education, Emily began her career teaching middle school mathematics in Kokomo, Indiana, where she took pride in working with students to find their best learning techniques and adapting her lessons to best meet their needs.
After relocating with her family to Knoxville, Emily began her training in banking at First Tennessee Bank where she worked both as a teller and a financial services representative. Her main focus while at the bank was matching customers to the best accounts and/or products that fit each client’s goals.
Most recently, Emily came from the University of Notre Dame where she worked in the Office of Student Accounts, assisting students and families with their tuition accounts. One of her responsibilities was designing an efficient, paperless workflow process for approving and processing refunds when overpayment had been submitted, which allowed the office to better support students and parents in a timely manner.
Emily’s main focus outside of work is spending time with her husband and two young daughters. She also enjoys sewing, quilting, and crocheting when she has time.
