Both an attorney and a Certified Financial Planner™ professional, Sam is uniquely positioned to advise investors, business owners, and institutions with financial planning and investment decisions. Before joining Raymond James Financial Services, Sam practiced law and later served as the financial planning director for an independent wealth management office in the Chicago area. He earned his B.S. in Personal Financial Planning from Central Michigan University and his Juris Doctor from the University of Alabama School of Law, where he was a Senior Editor for the Alabama Law Review and received the George Peach Taylor Award for Excellency in Trial Advocacy.
Sam has a real passion for financial planning and investments, but most rewarding to him are the friendships and connections that often accompany the work. To best serve others, he keeps his guiding principles pretty simple: (1) always tell the truth, and (2) always advocate what is best for the client.
