Tim has over 20 years of financial services experience to help clients as they pursue their personal and financial goals. He is knowledgeable in comprehensive financial planning strategies, with expertise in personalized investment planning. He works closely with individuals and families to craft custom strategies designed to achieve and maintain a comfortable retirement regardless of potential changes in the market. As one of 10 siblings, Tim learned much growing up about getting along well with others, and he enjoys the opportunity to work with a group of diverse individuals as they navigate their financial lives.
Tim first considered a career in financial services after hearing from several people that he’d make a great financial advisor. After some initial reluctance, he joined a training program with Merrill Lynch – which he now considers the best career decision of his life. After working as a financial advisor for several years with Merrill Lynch, he became an associate vice president and financial advisor at Morgan Stanley, before joining our team in 2011 as a partner.
Before entering the financial services industry, Tim was an account manager for Coca-Cola USA, and worked in corporate cash management for 10 years. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in finance as well as an MBA from the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University.
An active member of his community, Tim is a longtime supporter of the Wichita Ronald McDonald House, as a recipient of the Hearts & Hands award for distinguished service and a former president of the board of directors. He currently serves as chairman of the endowment and investment committee for the Boy Scouts of America Quivira Council. He is also a member of Riverlawn Christian Church.
In his spare time, Tim enjoys reading, bicycling, traveling, golfing, fishing and spending time with his wife, Valerie, and their children and grandchildren. Originally from Pampa, Texas, Tim and Valerie live in Valley Center.
